I am a highly motivated, dedicated academic striving to serve and research in the field of Education. My areas of research interest are Corpus Linguistics, Sri Lankan English, Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) and English for Specific Purposes (ESP).

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Compiled the RAjarata Corpus of Academic English (RACAE)2009 as partial fulfillment of a requirement of the Degree in Master of Arts in Linguistics, Department of Linguistics-University of Kelaniya, Kelaniya, Sri Lanka. This is a small multi-model corpus of the Applied Sciences spoken academic discourse at the Rajarata University of Sri Lanka. This is a pioneering work of this kind in Sri Lanka.
